Meeting for students

On Thursday May 26, 11:30-12:30, in Dewing 305, there will be a meeting for students interested in Economics and Business. We will discuss plans for next year, answer questions, and eat pizza.

Juniors (rising Seniors) will be able to get their SIP forms signed.

Last chance for 2011-12 SIPs

On Wednesday May 11 at 5 pm in Dewing 310, there will be a make-up meeting for anyone who missed the Economics & Business SIP meeting last week. Students who miss the meetings will not be permitted to write a SIP in Economics or Business.

Thanks to everyone who is contributing to this week's Professional Development Institute. This program, which started in our department as the "Business Bootcamp," is growing every year.

We're excited to begin a new academic year. Congratulations go to Tim Moffit as our new department chair. (And thanks go to Patrik Hultberg for his service as chair.) Yang Li will be on leave this Fall working on research projects in China. We're pleased that Mike Ricco is returning to continue his popular marketing classes and to offer new courses in management.
